This place has been a go to of mine for some time now and I will say it has yet to disappoint. The staple burgers are delicious and encompasses a wide variety of flavors to ensure there is a burger that every one will love, and with an ever changing special burger of the week you are guaranteed to leave satisfied. The sides are the perfect size for sharing and are made fresh to order. The ambiance is great and the staff have always been friendly. The parking can be a little difficult but for a burger this good in Seattle it's par for the course. I can't recommend Lil Woody's enough!
Close to the Seattle Convention Center. I ordered takeout on the phone on the website - took about 15 min. Came over and picked it up and drove to Kerry Park to eat them. I got the Special (Thai flavored) and it was really good!! I didn't get the fries so all I can comment on is the burger. It wasn't really Thai flavors but it was a little different and it was nice. Be adventurous Yelpers and get the special! But I also do love a good old-fashioned burger too so I will have to return to Seattle to try that. My local Seattlite friend compared this with Dick's and he prefers Lil Woody's to Dick's. I can't compare... will just have to return to Seattle one day! Ambiance - seemed like a casual sit in place, but I liked sitting with the burger at Kerry's Park. It was a little cooler so it would have been nice to have it warmer.
We stumbled into this cute burger place while exploring downtown. The burgers are tasty, and they give you plenty of fries. You can dine in or take out, and there's seating both downstairs and upstairs. Downstairs is great if you're just 1-3 people and want a view of the sidewalk, while upstairs has more room if you've got a larger group.
Lil woody's on Capitol Hill is my default Burger joint. You can taste that the burgers are of good quality & are always grilled to a perfect, juicy doneness. When it's Burger Month, I'll make the drive from Kent to Seattle weekly just to try the Burger of the week with, of course a Basket of fries! And a chocolate shake is a Must whenever I'm here! They have the best chocolate shake in Washington Imho!
Prefacing this review by stating that I got a free burger as part of their Memorial Day special. It was a plain lil woody with onions and pickles. Burger was good! The party had a nice char that you could taste, and the bun (while not toasted much) still had a nice texture. Hard to mess up a simple burger. Some of the 3 star reviews mentioned the burger being dry and requiring copious amounts of sauce to be edible. That wasn't the case for me.
Incredible burgers and fries. Great location. Friendly service. So glad we found this place randomly on a whim during our trip to Seattle. This place looks nondescript but the food is incredible. The burgers are well seasoned and juicy. The fries are perfectly cooked and seasoned. If you're in the area, check this place out for sure.
